John has been singing and playing all his life but only discovered an ability for song writing in recent years, creating haunting melodies and poignant lyrics reflecting both British folk and Country. A wide range of subjects, with some lighter "tongue in cheek" stuff. Mainly acoustic with some electric tracks woven through the melodies. Involved in the music business since 1992 John has run Maximum Impact - specialising in designing and printing cover artwork for musicians of all genres, supplying recording studios, duplicators, individual musicians and bands. Outside of the music sphere he has competed at expert level in all branches of off-road motor cycle sport and has twice been World Champion at BMX, and is still an active competitor.
